Topic of the talk: Yogadharma: When Yoga Looks Within
About the speaker: Dr. Anuradha Choudry is brought up in the Integral Yoga tradition of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother from Pondicherry, and specialising in Sanskrit. She is a Joint Faculty at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Centre of Excellence for Indian Knowledge Systems and a Member of the Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. A multilingual Sanskritist, and an instructor for online courses on Sanskrit on NPTEL and Yoga, she works in the areas of Indian/Yoga Psychology, Philosophy and Culture and is a resource person for national and international academic and yoga organisations like the European Union of Yoga and others. A recipient of the Excellent Young Teacher's Award at IIT Kharagpur in 2019, she has co-edited and co-authored Perspectives on Indian Psychology and Happiness: Indic Perspectives with Dr. Vinayachandra B. K, Director, Indica Yoga. They had co-curated the 41days online Yogathon called Global Festival of Yoga: Celebrating Wellness for Indica Yoga.
