About the speaker: Ms. Nrithya Jagannathan is currently the Director of the KYM Institute of Yoga Studies, Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, Chennai India. This is the training and certification wing of the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram. With over 19 years of teaching experience, she is also a Senior Yoga Therapist from the Krishnamacharya tradition.
Ms. Nrithya has been an integral part of Bilva festivals each year and we are immensely grateful to her for always encouraging us and being a pillar of support to Damaru.Bilva's Theme for 2021: Cultural Appropriation of Yoga: Necessity to embrace the inherent Indianness of the yogic tradition. All talks during Bilva 2021 will be related to this theme.
